ABOUT ME
I’m Theodora Ellis, and I make ceramic art.
Complete concentration to center a piece of clay and then build it into something unexpected, choosing the glazes that will enhance and show off the things I like about a piece is why I love ceramics. Getting to play in mud as an adult is also enjoyable.
Stretching the boundaries of the clay is how I create the work I do most of the time. Sometimes I dream it. Currently I’m layering different clays and experimenting with the results.
